What happens when you use the contact form
This website does not process forms on a server. When you submit the form, your device opens your own email app with a message already addressed to contact@erikfessler.com. The message is sent through your own email provider and is not stored on this website.
What data is involved
Only what you choose to write: your name, email address and message. Nothing is collected automatically before you send it.
Legal basis
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR: to answer your enquiry and on the basis of a legitimate interest in replying to you.
How long messages are kept
Your message is kept only as long as needed to answer it and is then deleted as part of routine mailbox maintenance.
Cookies and tracking
The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts only if you accept; in that case your browser requests them from those servers, which receive your IP address. If you reject, nothing is requested from third parties and the site uses your device's own fonts. This relies on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To use them, email contact@erikfessler.com. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
